Well other bands you might like that might have somewhat of a 'similar' sound would be Keane, Flickerstick, maybe even Ben Kweller if you're looking for a more 'instrumental' experience.

I would personally have to say Weezer... they have just been with me all these years. Though their first 2 albums are my favorite, they're still rocking and making music I enjoy.

Notables: Alkaline Trio, Bush, The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, STP

As I get older my tastes seem to become more refined. There are plenty of bands I use to love and just not so much anymore so I'm basing this purely off longevity.

Yeah, first time I heard it was on here and I fell in love all over again lol. It sorta has that raw alternative sound from the 90's. I'm obsessed with 90's alternative/grunge rock. Fewer bands seem to go that route now-a-days. I get tired of the many digitalized, studio altered music that never sounds good live.

I have never been a big fan of saliva, therefore, couldn't tell you much about it :-P. I'm looking foward of the 'Remains' album by Alkaline Trio that came out yesterday. I am also curious what it all includes... i know it's a bunch of b-sides, unreleased songs, and songs of soundtracks. Also a DVD I don't know much about.
