Green Day is a legacy. They're a small, weird, unique band that continues to pump out awesome alt muzak

Green Day have been in the spotlight for 10 years now and are still making relevant and rocking music. No matter if you like them or not you have to respect them for having the balls to make a concept punk-rock-opera album with TWO nine minute opuses on it. I remember some old school punk rocker dissing em way back, saying he wanted to start a commercialized punk band and call it Green Spring after them and The Offspring... of course he would have had to throw a number in there to rip em off properly! -182, -41, -71, -6, etc... But as for that whole The Network thing they refuse to acknowledge is them... lets see someone try to rip that off! Sweet - I'll be at three stars now because of this post, worthy of a w00t!
