Hey guys,

This is my first post here - I've been listening to your station for just a couple days now. I must say - KUDOS! Thanks for the good tunes.

Now - on to the topic.

I stumbled onto this article regarding the Copyright thing and thought you might find it useful. I apologize if it's anything similar to other links in another post, I didn't click them all.

Enjoy!!

FYI..... I have ripped many "copy protected" CD's including the Velvet Revolver disc in the article above and some  APC discs without any issues.  I use Sound Juicer on a Mandrake Linux box with a Gnome GUI.  I've actually never had any issues at all.  At this point I kinda laugh when I see the sticker saying the disc is protected.

Audiograbber with the LAME Codec on Window$ XP has also ripped every CD without problems even if it was so called "protected".

Audiograbber is also freeware (since September 2k4): http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/
