You ever notice we have a "Songs that Stink" and "Songs we never get sick of" but it seems like we have no topics for Songs that Rock (meaning like the ones getting the most spins). I will start with the ones I have been enjoying off the playlist lately.

Retrograde - Letting Go
Funkalicious - Departure
Drawing Boxes - Nowhere Fast
Earshot - both versions of Someone
KRIM - Can't Talk To You
Star Crash Speedway - Answer
Lost Prophets - I Don't Know

..... WOW now I realize why, I am going to end up listing almost every song on there.  Okay I answered my own question. It is just easier and faster to say which ones suck.

I actually have a list of the good songs next to each of my computers.  I jsut never post them usually..

Martyrs and Poets - Misery
Helmet - See You Dead (just love it)
Snow Patrol - How To Be Dead
Exies - Baptize Me
Winston Canada - Bottom Of The World
Autopilot Off - I'm Thinking
Soil - Deny Me
V-Shaped Mind - Monsters
Earshot - Someone (and the acoustic version blazes!)
Flying Blind - Smokescreen
Non Prophets - Any Port
Finger Eleven - Thousand Mile Wish
Lola Ray - What It Feels Like
Chronic Future - Memories in F Minor
The Verve - Photograph (actually put it back on the playlist)

so many more, so little time...

See that is the problem I have is that i could list so many songs just off the list off songs getting a lot of spins if I went to the whole playist I would end up with like 800 songs on my list.

Chronic Future - Memories in F Minor

Memories in F Minor is an amazing song, one of my favorites right now.  The cd as a whole (lines in my face) is also one of my favorite CDS right now... chronic future is definatley worth a listen

...i've got to echo "can't talk to you" by KRIM, "thousand mile wish" by finger eleven, "baptize me" by the exies, "someone" by earshot

...and, by the way, , "photograph" is by the VERVE PIPE, not the verve.  (sorry, i'm picky...TVP was my favourite band in high school, and i was never huge on the verve.  photograph is freaking awesome, though!)

as for stuff, that hasn't been mentioned yet...
--"give it all" by rise against...i HEART rise against, their singer has the greatest voice.
--"missing" by evanescence
--"valley of disarray" by 12 volt sex
--"boulevard of broken dreams" by green day
--"we're all to blame" by sum 41...i usually can't stand them, but i'm in love with that song.
--i really wish they'd resurrect "home" by three days grace.  i love that song so much, i go crazy whenever it goes on.

In other news, i've really gotten into groups like Bela Fleck & the Flecktones and Victor Wooten recently (thats what you get for having friends who play bass).  If course, wooten is amazing, but I feel kinda stupid when start listenin to jazz fusion stuff...I guess its a break from the normal rock music.

Therion - Sunset...
Unwritten Law - Save Me
Dry Ink - Hollywood Ending (did i reverse that?)
Killers - Mr. Brightside
Baby Momus - His Majesty (this COULD get annoying if played too much, but its a great offbeat little tune)
Used - All That Ive Got

also, i was perusing the setlist to make sure i didnt miss one, is it me or has the setlist gotten smaller, with more songs being played more often???  what i like the most is the amount of songs that only get played once or twice, gives a better chance of hearing something you never heard before (even if it isnt technically "new").  id trade 5 spins for any one of the songs i listed in favor of hearing 5 other songs, even if i only really like 1 of them itd be worth it.  with any form of entertainment, ones mans trash is another mans treasure, and therefore quantity CAN BE preferable to "quality".

Yeah he has cut down from about 1600 odd songs a week to about 1300. I don't mind it because he has kept some of the newer stuff around longer giving them between 2-4 spins a week.  It is kind of nice if you were out for a few weeks on vacation you can still here some of these songs or if you just plain missed the boat.  Honestly I liked the 1600 songs too so no real complaint from me either way.

I added an extra top-tracks spin to every hour a couple weeks ago -- I added like 25-30 new tracks which was pushing the top-tracks down to 11 spins/week max.  There is so much "new" in the top-tracks right now I'll probably leave it that way for a few weeks!!

So much new music... so little time.

 Cool

Molotov - Amateur (Rock Me Amadeus)

Hard to find a song that's both this innovatave and this catchy. Good pick.

Are you seriously calling this shitty remake of yet another 80's song "innovative"?  I could fart a better song.
