Hey kids, just got back from seeing Finger Eleven.
James Black–guitar Rick Jackett–guitar these two guys are amazing. They were the whole show for me. They crunched, grinded and punched a sonic hole into the night tonight. It was a reall treat to hear such masterful guitar work.
They are up for a Juno award tomorrow night in Winnepeg
I for one hope they finally win. I beleive they have been nominated several times in the past and deserve the spotlight for their consistant kick ass tunes.
Good luck to them.
My wife and my three kids completely loved the show. It was at Canada Olympic Park and was frickin cold as hell.
The back-up bands were: Kiros (local Calgary band) they were eh! and the other was Social Code. The latter were a real treat like to hear them here on Wazee. They got a good sound going, one I think others here would like.
Here's a link to one of there songs:

they have stage presence like nothing else--they put on the most passionate live show i've ever seen.  and james black...there is no end to how much i love that man.

anyway...glad you had an awesome time, and glad you got to see finger eleven.  Cheesy

F11 has come through Regina tons of time and I've tried to see them every time they came through...  Man, if was SO awesome when Seether was just barely hitting the charts, they came through as the opener for F11...  I got some WICKED pics from that show...

Hey, if anyone wants to see em, let me know... I'll be more than happy to throw them up on my website or if Howard wants em, I'll send em to him Wink

I saw them for free a few years ago now, I wasn't that impressed really, I thought they were kinda tame for a live performance. Maybe they were just having an off night (maybe it was me), but oh well I can't complain too much cause it was free and the overall concert was really good.
