Ahh, this brought out the computer nerd in me, I just have to post Smiley

3.2GHz P4
Asus P4P800SE mobo
1GB RAM
Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro (passive cooling)
500GB or so of HD space (server in the basement!)
DVD-ROM, 16x DVD+/-RW
19" old-school mitsubishi monitor

A few months ago I upgraded my case, put in some slow 120mm fans, and put in a fanless powersupply.  She's quiet now!  I can actually hear Wazee!  I do recording on the comp too, so it has multiple benefits.

Yeah, I'm a nerd on the side  Grin

 Pretty standard stuff:

Desktop:
Windows XP
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 MoBo
512 RAM, probably going up soon Wink
120GB Western Digital 7200rpm HD
ATI 8500DV All-in-Wonder
Speakers SHOULD be hooked up to my stereo from the AIW card, but currently not, so no sound.
CD-R Drive
DVD+R/DVD-R Drive
17" ViewSonic VA720 LCD Monitor

Laptop:

Toshiba Satellite P15-S470 (I think)
Windows XP Media Center Edition
3.0 GHz Pentium 4
60GB HD
512 RAM
802.11 b/g
DVD-RAM / DVD-RW
NVidia GeForce FX Go5200
15.4" Widescreen Display

Likely get rid of it soon in favor of an ultra portable or at least something smaller.

feel free to donate equipment to ME  Tongue

I know.  When I was building my system, the last thing I bought was the monitor.  I bought what fit my budget (this was in 2002)

I built my own system (it's about 2 years old now):

Ubuntu Linux (dual boot w/ WinXP just in case)
Pentium 4 - 2.4Ghz (overclocked to 2.6)
1GB of Corsair XMS PC3200 DDR RAM
ASUS Mobo
Antec Case
GeForce 5200 (my weak point)
120GB Seagate SATA HD
Asus 52x32x52 CDRW
17" Viewsonic Flat-front CRT

I'm planning on upgrading my video card to a GeForce 6600 GT and adding a NEC DVD burner too when I get a little spare cash. My next system will definitely run an AMD chip....probably either a dualcore Ath64 or Opteron...

I currently use the Beep Media Player to listen to Wazee by the way Wink
