You know, the more I hear about Canada and The Netherlands, the more I think their politics sound just the same as ours, excepting local variations.  Ok, so we persecute leaders who get blow-jobs but not ones that ignore the constitution and lie repeatedly, so we're unique in the world in some respects.  But whatever the country, whatever the details, it seems there are always some twits that are regarded by one side or the other as the face of evil.  So come election time, the pendulum swings the other way for a bit and the other side gets a crack at screwing things up and alienating members the opposing parties (and sometimes their own parties, hehe).  Maybe I'm just old and cynical...

Alienation of our closest trading partners to the south,...and Tax cuts for all their rich buddies. You know Fedak, the same bunch that helped elect the crooked bastards.

Mind you if I lived back East I'd vote Liberal too, because there's nothing an Easterner loves more than sopping up all the gravy of the prosperity of the Westerners, with that Liberal slice of bread.
Funneling money and infrastructure to their ailing regional economy, while telling the west that we got deep pockets, so our provinces should pick up the tab for our own projects.

Because the first thing Jean Chretien did when he was elected was tell me that the whole reason he was elected on the back of removing the GST. Was just a misunderstanding and that he was misquoted. WTF?
The Last Liberal Government will be recorded as one of the most disastrous in Canadian History.

Well I'd rather prefer a NDP Government Elected. It's just that I don't see that ever happening. My vote is for NDP but I live in a province thats about 50/50 Lib/Cons and like 1 riding NDP in Halifax. Unfortunately for NS no one would vote NDP in our Provincial government or our Federal one. And thats sad because in our last provincial election (last summer, one day before my 18th birthday) the NDP had the most realistic goals to get NS out of debt. The only thing that I've liked so far about the conservatives is increased military spending.

Ahh, yes BK...  A man on the right page.  I am an American and I feel that Bush has made mistakes, but who ever is in power is human and either party will make mistakes.  I'm just getting sick and tired of hearing the liberal media reporting all the negitive things that they can possibly find, and then sometimes making shit up... All to further their agendas.  I am pretty close to being on middle ground when it comes to politics, but the way the liberals in the US have been doing business drives me crazy.  I am former US Navy and I know that alot of the crap that comes out in network news is all tiwsted because when I was in the Middle East everything was being distorted, not to mention all the good things that were going on were being TOTALLY niglected.
