Hey, we need logo! And im calling YOU to design one!

hmm, too "Uncle Sam"? yeah.. thought so....

but hey, a logo would be kewl for bands to put on their website, plus it can be on the mainpage and on the myspace thingy... im no designer guy myself, but some of you do have the gifted artsy-fartsy-ness in your blood, so if you could come up with some kind of logo, it would be realy realy cool!

I guess I might try to come up with a few ideas...

I'm a big fan of inkscape myself  It's what I used for my little Wazee/Celldweller button on the side...

so some kind of picture bands can put on their website because they are nominated and want to get votes
and a logo we can put on the MySpace page
so just for the Awards only

yes, just for the awards, we're in need of some artwork... now my skills in paint are "ok-ish", but hey... paint sux and all

We need a logo for nominee's like Reej mentioned and we also need something as price-arwork, so the winner can put that online, so it preferable has to have the category in it... i'm so demanding

But we still need it tho!

Righty, for the ones that wanna give it a shot.

Official Wammee Design Guidelines:

We need:

- Wammee logo

This must be put into:

- A Banner / Picture (animated or still) for bands to put on their sites
- The Award itself, again in the form of a picture for bands to put on their site. But also to mail out, put on the MySpace-page, so kinda for general promotion and stuff.
- Also, A 'Your Nominated' thingy

The Award should contain:
- A place for the bandname
- The Category
- The name and year of these Awards

Now this doesn't nesiceraly mean we want it in the shape of a little statue or something, just make whatever you think is cool.

So, zephyrxero (and others): be teh creative.


Come to think of it. We will give you full control of the Art Direction of this Wammee Project if you're intested.

I'd love to help but the Computer Nazi here at work has shut off my account here,.......so he thinks.
Needless to say my Wazee, and extra curicular activities have pretty much ceased.
I would really like to help but,.........no time.
So thanks to you all who are doing it.
It's something to help out the site and thats cool in my book.

Ok, here's my idea for what the Wammee award should look like:



I made it with Inkscape, so it's a Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file and can be used at any resolution

looks awesome! nice feature that it can be any size too! Just a little thingy tho, there's not realy any space for the category and band name on the thing you've just designed, so it wouldnt quite be suitable as a "trophy" (yet).

And the colours are awesome, but maybe for the logo it would be cool to have it wazee-style (colours and all), not saying that it's better, just trying to give some inspiration because i cant make artwork myseld

Well I figured that the "award" would be placed on a banner that says the band/song name and which award they got...etc

Oh, and the font is intended to be like the one used on the "pimp us" buttons...
