What’s the phrase I'm looking for,................?
ummm,.....                                                             All the ingredients are there for sure but,......no meat! You know they are underrated but at the same time I can only think they are on the verge,.......of something.
But solid band, good song writing, good musicians,...good.

For this Wammee I would like to nominate:
A Canadian guy who 's last CD contained alot of kick ass tunes, If were gonna talk about underrated well this guy personifies it. Thornley

Ok, so how about a real nomination here?

I saw this video on a Victory Records extras CD that came with my Spitalfield CD.  It was the video for the Straylight Run song Existentialism on Prom Night.  

I was completely blown away.

Having heard this song a few times on wazee, I liked it, but didnt' regard it as anything special until I saw the video.  It's hard to describe, better to let you view it and see if you get the same effect.

To that end, I tried to find a link that worked.  If you go to the Victory Records site it has some video which are actually hosted on Yahoo!.  MTV has it also, but sadly neither of the links works for me.  Someone using Win** w/ I.E. will likely have better luck (that's like, most of you right?).

Check it out.  See what you think.  

As far as the award goes, I was going to nominate this video and I guess I will, but someone could just as easily nominate the entire VR label for making a pretty good effort reaching a non-mainstream audience.  By this I mean "us", witnessed by the fact that so many VR bands are on Radio.Wazee and such.  

Jeesh Howard, come to think of it, you should be getting revenue from them... they wouldn't be a big label on my shelf if not for Radio.Wazee.  Send them a bill
