I was wondering if wazee would ever be available on podcasts?
they cut off my internet radio access to this station at my job which freakin sux!
this staton and music is what gets me through the day.
i still listen to podcasts thus far at work since it isn't streaming so that is why i think it could be a good idea to have some sort of weekly podcasts from wazee so i can get my music fix.
i do have a program where i can download and copy streams right from internet radio  to my computer but so if have to i guess i can do that.

it just annoys me that i can't listen to wazee and do my work.

I think it would be cool if wazee had a freshmeat podcast or a freshmeat only WMD artist podcast.

Just my two cents.

that would be great i think!
even if they just did freshmeat i would be happy with that.

though they may have licensing and copyright issues to worry about before making podcasts. i don't know much about that but i'm sure that could be why they couldn't do it.
maybe just make a podcast of just the artist in the WMD or something?

I'm interested in things like this too.  Legally, I don't know what the difference between the mp3 stream and a podcast would be.

Perhaps H. would share some of his accumulated wisdom on the legal side of running a radio station.  How exactly does it work?  Is there some special agreement made for songs in the WMD?  Suspect he's quite busy, but maybe if we say please...?

Please?

I would love this, too.  The thought of not being able to listen to you guys at work kinda freaks me out

Interesting.

While the term "podcast" suggests to me that this is meant for iPod users, is a podcast simply an audio file, like an mp3, that I could burn to a mini-disc if I wanted to? It would be cool to take Wazee with me to work instead of listening to the same old stuff all the time.

I don't work with a computer, so I just have my MD Walkman with me. Unfortunately my own music supply is quite limited.

that's correct it is just an audio file that you can use...
