Wammees 2005 - The Wazee Music Awards



What are the Wammees?

This year Radio Wazee is coming with yet another unique project: their very own alternative awards. This project is set up by some regular visitors of the forum. They noticed every single awardshow over the world was the same. Same categories, same winners. As a reaction to that they decided to create their own alternative awards.... and the Wammees were born.





And the Wammee goes to...?

Radio Wazee has it's own unique database of bands all over the world: The Wazee Music Database (WMD). We feel these bands should be able to win awards too. That's why a large amount of Wammees goes to WMD-bands only. Ofcourse, we want to give better known bands some appreciation also. Just to show it doesn't always have to be the same big names that win them. This year we'll give out the awards for 2005. So, if your favorite band is in the WMD, or got played on Radio Wazee in 2005... they can win a Wammee! And YOU get to decide if they do. Radio Wazee listeners can nominate the bands and vote for them.



What type of Wammees are there?

We're gonna hand out 12 Wammees in total. We seperated this into 3 sections. One for mainstream bands. One for WMD-bands. And one called 'Extra'. Here's a list of all the categories:

How do I join in on the action?

Vote's are up, so vote for your favorite nominee in each category! The results will remain hidden untill Sunday the 4th of June, thats when the voting polls will close!
Don't be a lame-ass and set up multiple accounts for the voting tho... that would be soooo uncool! (Maybe im only bringing people on idea's here, hmm... )
