Just to bring this in the open, does the media really have to spend so much time on stupid stories that have little relavence to the average person?
Yes, actually they do, haha. The reason they do is because for some reason "people" want to know all about everyone else's personal stuff. Its quite pathetic, if you ask me. I personally could care less, and thats why I have been poking fun at it here. We live in the age of "reality TV" where everyone NEEDS to see "real life" that is scripted... Makes no sence to me. DAMN MTV to hell for starting all this! |

Prefer to watch DVD's before watching any tv.
watch aprox. 20-30 min of Tv a day.
reality shows are very previlent in the media
I'm not sure however that the producers of these shows can claim the moniker of "Reality."
Most are scripted to some extent and then edited to bring "their" Reality into the fore.
been watching the fight network more than anything.
If you ever get a chance to watch it I hope you get to see the "So You Wanna Fight" show.
No word of a lie it's filmed in the U.S. and it's ...........brace yourselves......usually filmed in a Trailer-Park.
They set up a ring and let Cletus and Buba and Julio and Pepe duke it out for three rounds.......and hilarity insues.
These guys and girls are usually not only inexperienced but also for the most part unable to mount an attack for more than 20 sec before sucumbing to what I like to refer to as lung distress.
You get to see some pretty funny shit and well, the anouncers do some verbal punching at the contestants as well.

my roommate watches reality tv all day ecspecially those ones on mtv dealing with like stupid high schoolers and just dramatic relationships... I can't stand it. I just don't think he has enough drama is his life.

MTV is the downfall of Westurn civilization. It provides a dumbing down of people who watch it. Even game shows are shitty now. You ever notice how no-a-days game shows are all about stupid people getting easy questions wrong!? Thats horrible. We shouldn't watch that shit. Back in the day game shows were about smart people answer really hard questions to win a prize. No "phone a friend" or "50/50" shit.
