Hey Reej, How have you been? What are you crazy dutch up to these days? Following World Cup? I'm not a soccer fan but I am hoping the dutch win, since they are the only country left i have any interest in.

Everything's just fine here. Life has begun, we all started working etc. Busy Dutchies =) Yeah the World Cup is so exciting, I'm really into it. The whole country is actually, it's a pretty big thing here. We've reached the finals for the first time in 32 years, amazing. Hope we win. Make sure you all cheer for us  I met my first Canadian this spring by the way! A friend of mine's been in Canada for almost a year, found himself a girlfriend there and she visited for a few weeks =) |

So when are you coming to canada for a visit? You know we would love to see ya!
Although I probably won't be watching world cup (I find soccer hard to watch) I will be "cheering" for the Dutch.
Btw, what was your opinion of your first canadian?

Yeh she was really nice. Outdoor-type, so great to go kayaking (etc.) with =) Although I did expect her to use the metric system, because that's what I learned from TV as being the difference between Americans and Canadians, but she kept asking us to tell her how much feet everything was  // totally hijacking your thread by the way, feels like the old days |
