They kill the power to the outlets and the only thing that is left on is the HVAC outlets.  They're really anal about it, I don't know what exactly the purpose is.  I mean the building still will have people in it cleaning it and working the desks, just no students are allowed in.

argh. damn US date notation.. i was thinking ... wtf... may... until i realised usa does their dates in mm/dd/yyyy instead of dd/mm/yyyy like every other decent country does:P

Sorry firewall listeners, but the 128k mp3 firewall servers will be down from today, 12/13/03, until 01/05/04 because of university holiday.  They shut down the power so that pretty much kills my chances of keeping the server up (unless someone has a _really_ good UPS, anyone?).

I'll get it up first thing when I get back so everyone will be streaming by that Monday morning.
