"Attention radio programmers!! this is what you need," says a music critic from Tempe, Arizona after hearing a new Adams Mom song entitled Telephone. Brad Ware (23), Nick Pottebaum (20) Clayton Brath (20) and Ben Reed (23) make up this powerful Pop/Punk Rock band. "These four guys are quickly turning Adams Mom into one of the best Rock groups in the Midwest," says local music enthusiast Alan Porcaro.
Adams Mom was born in February of 2003 when Nick Pottebaum (Vocals/Guitar) joined forces with Brad Ware (Guitar/Vocals) and Ben Reed (Drums). Both Brad and Ben came from the Milwaukee band One Left and Nick came from a fellow Milwaukee band Civil Shepherd. Both bands had achieved a certain amount of success in the general Milwaukee area and though still young, these guys brought together many years of experience. They played 10 months worth of shows in the Milwaukee/Chicago area before setting off for Minneapolis to record a four song demo in January of 2004. Just days after completing their demo, Adams Mom acquired its new bassist, Clayton Brath, who was enthusiastically brought into the picture after just one audition.
With the powerful songs on the demo, as well as their energetic stage presence, Adams Mom has started to stir up commotion amongst fans and music enthusiasts nationally and will help Adams Mom push their way up the proverbial music ladder. With more shows to come in the Midwest, and more studio time to complete their upcoming LP, Adams Mom hopes to expand quickly while maintaining and adding to their large fan base.
