Reborn in 2002 with a fresh sound and a new drummer, Atomic Tangerine is building a loyal fan base throughout Florida having sold more than 1,000 copies of their second album “Bitch For Society” within two months of its release and drawing 500 fans to their most recent performance at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. Their first single, “Gravity,” sold 2,800 singles prior to album release and also was featured on the Alternative Times Vol. 61 CD. Within a year of joining the MySpace website, Atomic Tangerine’s profile has been viewed 52,000 times.
Named Best Rock Act and Best Acoustic Act by The Orlando Weekly in 2004, Atomic Tangerine is best known for its powerful live performances. Atomic Tangerine has headlined such venues as House of Blues (Orlando), Hard Rock Café/Live (Times Square New York, Miami, and Orlando), The Social (Orlando), Masquerade (Tampa), The Factory (Ft. Lauderdale), Floyd’s (Tallahassee), Jack Rabbit’s (Jacksonville), and Gotham Hall (Ft. Myers).
Atomic Tangerine has opened for several major acts including Jimmy Eat World, Andrew W.K., Cypress Hill, Better Than Ezra, Jimmy’s Chicken Shack, Blues Traveler, The Gin Blossoms, Fastball, Less Than Jake and Guster.
